Celebrating 10 Years of Maple

June 2022 is a milestone for Maple as we celebrate 10 years in business!

We want to say a huge thank you to all of our customers, past and present, for supporting us over the last decade. As a small, family business we are delighted to be your go-to for gorgeous gifts, delicious chocolate, and beautiful children’s clothes.

In 2012, Maple began as a chocolate shop selling decadent hand-picked chocolates, quality chocolate bars, and unique novelty sweet treats. Now, five more shops have been added to the Maple collection, each one specialising in something totally different.

From delicious chocolate to gold rings, greeting cards to children’s toys, we stock a huge range of top quality world renowned brands, including Frugi, Nomination, Lindt, Jellycat, and Emma Bridgewater. Each and every product we sell has been hand-picked to ensure we give our customers the best shopping experience, whether they come into our stores or shop online.

It’s only fitting that to celebrate our 10th Birthday, we launch a limited edition chocolate box, for just £10!

Meet the Maple Team

As our business has grown over the last 10 years there have been lots of changes to the way we work. But one thing that hasn’t changed is how much we enjoy getting to know our customers.

It’s lovely to see our regular customers in store, and we get the same feeling when we spot returning customers buying from us online. But we’ve realised that not everyone knows who the Maple family is, and why we love what we do.

Our 10 year anniversary seems like the perfect time to introduce you to the faces behind the business, so you can see who does a happy dance when an order pops into our inbox.

The Maple Family

Myself (Rachel) and my sister Bethany are the Managers. Our parents, Karen and Rob, are the owners.

Our limited edition luxury chocolate selection will be filled with 12 chocolates hand chosen by myself, Bethany, and other Maple staff members. The chocolates included are going to be our absolute favourites which means you’ll be getting a box with the most popular flavours.

My top pick for the box is the Florentine. It’s an almond praline topped with a pistachio and almond Florentine and it’s always one of my ‘recommended’ chocolates when helping a customer choose a box.

Bethany’s top choice is the milk chocolate salted caramel. This is a milk chocolate case filled with the most delicious soft salted caramel and it’s probably THE most popular chocolate we’ve ever had!

Karen has chosen vanilla cheesecake with raspberry jam and Rob has chosen the orange cream. Karen’s choice is a dark chocolate filled with a vanilla cheesecake flavour cream and topped with a layer of raspberry jam. Rob’s pick is a milk chocolate crown filled with a tasty orange cream.

The box is topped up with 8 more of our most popular chocolates which are sure to tickle your taste buds and satisfy any sweet tooth with flavours including caramel fudge, cherry, and champagne.

We feel privileged to have been on the high street for 10 years and this would not have happened without the constant support of you, our wonderful customers. We are grateful for each one of you and hope to keep seeing you at Maple for the next 10 years!
