Why buy free from chocolate?
Chocolate in its purest form is made from the cacao bean, which of course, means it’s vegan and suitable for a free from diet. But often, ingredients like milk are added to make milk chocolate, and it becomes unsuitable for anyone who is trying to be dairy free or vegan. Gluten products are also added to chocolate, or gluten products are made in the same factories as chocolate, which contaminates the chocolate itself.
Rather than trying to analyse tiny lists of ingredients on the side of packets and boxes, it’s much easier to opt for delicious chocolate that’s guaranteed to be free from any of the ingredients you’re trying to avoid.
