Edge Sculpture Welsh Red Dragon
Presenting a most striking collection of contemporary sculpture. Emotionally evocative, fiercely modern, yet remaining utterly affordable.
'Red, the Eastern fire of the mighty dragon, The colour in his eyes of hope and promise. Red, the Western deaths bloodbath of sin, In monsters claws a tale of greed and pain. Red, the blooming flowers of love, and thorns of hate, Ribbons hung from mystery, of life and death the same.'
Red Dragon A Poem by Anna Simmons
Each subject has been originally sculpted from clay, which allows the creation of pieces that deliver both a dynamic and organic feel. We then develop both the cases and moulds which ensure the faithful reproduction of the original clay sculpture with our special blend of marble stone castings.
The finishing touch is the skilful application of hand-painting with the end result being a statement piece and talking point for anyone's home!
- Height - 203mm - 8 inches
- Width - 305mm - 12 inches
- Depth - 171mm - 6.75 inches
Designed and sculpted in England by Matt Buckley at his studios in Shropshire, Edge Sculpture is a collection influenced by style rather than subject. The mix of form, light and texture gives a unique feel to each individual piece.
We love that they're hand-painted - all with the same character but very slightly different
