Where do Edge Sculptures come from?
All Edge sculptures are handmade and designed by Matt Buckley in Shropshire, UK. They are sold around the world and it’s easy to see why their popularity continues to grow.
Matt has been sculpting for almost 3 decades, and has a wealth of experience in licensed figures as well as his own creations. Designed to be affordable but striking, these stone sculptures will add a new dimension to your living room, bedroom, or hallway.
Before Edge Sculptures, Matt Buckley honed his craft at Robert Harrop Designs. He worked on the ‘Country Companions’ range which was later named the ‘Doggie People’ range, and the collection is still popular with collectors and often given as gifts.Today, Matt is still the Creative Director of Robert Harrop Designs.
How are Edge Sculptures made?
After being organically sculpted from clay, each piece is created from a case and mould which ensure every piece is a faithful representation of the original artwork. Marble resin castings create the finished piece, and it’s then hand-painted for a beautiful finished product.
The use of form, light, and texture in each contemporary sculpture means every animal, mask, or creature feels completely unique.

The very first Edge Sculpture Matt ever created was a Bull Terrier Head and was inspired by his experience at Robert Harrop Designs. Ever since, the animals and ideas from Edge have continued to evolve and expand, along with Matt’s sculpting career.
